Brenden has played guitar since the age of 15.
Early influences were a mixture of soul and traditional Blues.
By late teens the quest to write and perform original music had begun.Madder Lake became the vehicle for the bulk of this expression. Madder Lake's first album Still point attained gold record status and confirmed the love of writing, recording and performing. Others bands include CLAWED RAINS, WHERE'S CLAIRE, INTRUDERS, CONNECTION, LOVECHILD, GORADS.
Brendan's connection with Neale began in the 80's. It catalyzed a wealth of new songs that were written in collaboration with Trevor Young. Being able to draw upon BLACKFEATHER, MADDERLAKE & COLORED BALLS material is an extra bonus.
We have always had an inspiring time when we play together and we certainly aren't going to stop now.
